2018 Victorian Schools Association Competition
ACS Swimming Team
The ACS Swimming Team competed in the 2018 Victorian School Associations Competition run by Swimming Victoria with ten school sports associations represented on Monday 7 May at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
In what was a wonderful event hosted by Swimming Victoria, every one of the 58 members of the ACS Swimming Team from the seven ACS schools were simply outstanding and swam their hearts out. All at the ACS are super proud of your achievements and we congratulate you. As a team ACS placed third overall in the combined section behind the AGSV and APS. Our Boys were third and our Girls fifth. Please see the table below for the full breakdown of teams points.
We placed in 12 of the relay events; 1st place (1), 2nd place (2), 3rd place (9). We also had outstanding swimmers in the individual events who placed and will bring you the full list in due course.

A sincere thank you to our wonderful Team Managers Nic Baker and Anthony Cross (St Leonard’s) who guided the team so well last night. Thank you Nic for the endless hours you put into team selection to bring together such a strong and cohesive team.
Thank you to the school staff who accompanied their teams and our volunteers who assisted as officials at the event; Tracy Wright (Overnewton), Lucy Adley (Loyola) and Laura Joyce (St Michael’s).
