2015 ACS Chess Championships

The Chess Championships were held at Loyola College on Monday 25 May 2015.

Beaconhills were keen to show their strength after a very solid tournament in 2014. However Westbourne as the Champion team from the last 4 years were determined to do well and hoped to win and be outright leaders on the Championship board. They showed their depth and will and succeeded taking out their fifth consecutive ACS Chess Championship. St Leonard’s and St Michael’s put in strong performances are they always do and Overnewton, Loyola and Thomas Carr played well throughout.
