Welcome Back to ACS Sport in 2024!

As the new academic year unfolds, we’re thrilled to welcome back our schools, students, staff and parents to ACS Sport! The excitement in the air is palpable as we gear up for a term filled with energy, sportsmanship, and memorable moments.

Dive into Term 1 with ACS Swimming Championships

Our first major event of the term is the eagerly anticipated Swimming Championships, scheduled for Tuesday, 12th March. The event will be held at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre with the first event commencing at 10:00am. Swimmers are already fine-tuning their strokes and dives, aiming to make waves in this year’s contest. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their aquatic skills represent their schools with pride.

ACS Weekly Summer Sport

ACS matches are underway with 6 schools competing across 10 different sports. Year 7 teams will play their first 5 rounds in term 1 and the Intermediate teams will play their first 6 rounds this term. Seniors will compete in 5 rounds with semi finals to be played on Wednesday March 20.

The pinnacle of Term 1 sports will be the Senior Grand Finals, set for March 27th. This day will celebrate the student’s athleticism, determination, and teamwork. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a showcase of the hard work, perseverance, and spirit of the ACS. We look forward to witnessing thrilling contests, sportsmanship, and the crowning of this year’s senior champions.

We extend a warm invitation to all our ACS families to get involved in this term’s sporting events by attending and supporting the students at weekly sport and championships. All weekly sport and ACS Championship dates, times and venues can be found on our ACS website and app.

The ACS welcomes our member schools’ best swimmers to MSAC on Tuesday 12 March for our first Carnival event of the year – the 2024 ACS Swimming Championship.

We invite any parents and friends to attend, with seating available behind the teams in the grandstand.
