2023 ACS Cross Country Championships Results

The 2023 ACS Cross Country Championships were held at Bundoora Park on Friday 11 August. With beautiful sunshine the course was set and the 7 schools arrived.

The day started with a wonderful rendition of the Australian National Anthem performed by Carly from Overnewton Anglican Community College and was followed by the Welcome to Country recited by Kai from Loyola College.

With 12 events on the day, our morning commenced with the Year 7 Boys.
All participants competed strongly and represented their respective schools with vigor and pride.

Individual triumphs collectively contributed to the overall team scores. Westbourne positioned themselves firmly in the lead early while 2nd, 3rd and 4th place were tightly contested and ultimately only separated by 3.5 points at the conclusion of the day.

Congratulations to Westbourne Grammar School who won both the Overall Aggregate Girls Score and the Overall Aggregate Boys Score. Westbourne Grammar were named victors on the day after winning the Overall Aggregate Score with a total of 1355 raw points, translating into 69.5 ranking points.
