SSAV Softball Championships Wednesday 1 May
Congratulations to Westbourne’s 1st Girls Softball Team who have repeated their success of 2023, to again win the School Sport Victoria Premier School Softball Competition. This competition involves the Premier Softball team from various school sport associations around the state. The Westbourne girls qualified for the competition following their premiership success in the ACS 1st Girls Softball Competition in term 1.
In the Yesterdays Semi Final the Westbourne Girls defeated Mount Lilydale Mercy College representing Eastern Independent School Melbourne (EISM) 16 runs to 0.
In the Grand Final the girls defeated St Margarets Berwick Grammar representing Girls Sport Victoria (GSV) 8 runs to 1.
Well done Girls. An amazing achievement.
